Hi all! I have been using the Bare Minerals Original SPF15 Foundation in the medium beige colour ever since I decided to stop using a liquid foundation. I’m a big fan of foundations that are light and give the feeling that you are not wearing any make-up in the first place. This product fits the bill!
Here’s my assessment:
The foundation comes in a small pot but don’t be put off by the size. One pot for everyday use usually lasts me about six months as you only need a small amount of product on each application. The foundation glides on easily with a powder brush and can be built up for more coverage. The final result is skin with a radiant and natural glow! It also gives the feeling that you are not wearing any make-up at all. This is the reason I have been so loyal to this product and have been wearing it everyday since I purchased it. Not only that it covers small blemishes quite well. You may need to use a bit of concealer for areas such as under the eyes or spots if you are going for light coverage – a small price to pay for the result you get! My skin also doesn’t break out and it lasts the whole day long without changing colour or giving a caked appearance.
For the price of €29 it is very good quality and it also comes in multiple shades. This is the first mineral foundation I have bought. I wasn’t expecting it to become such a huge component of my daily make-up routine. I think Bare Minerals should have a warning for how addictive their products can be!
