It's the Small Things

I am loving The Body Shop products these days. I decided to try the tea tree facial wash after hearing so much about the benefits of tea tree for your skin. This cleansing face wash is gentle on my skin and makes it feel refreshed and clean. The tea tree creates a cooling sensation on the skin. It comes in a 250ml bottle and is priced at €9.50.

The Pros:

• Lovely cooling sensation after use
• Does not dry skin out
• Reasonable price 
• Moisturising
• Smells great

The Cons:

• It has a very runny texture so it is difficult to lather 

I wouldn’t say that I have seen a noticeable difference in my skin since I’ve purchased it, but it does a great job of making it feel refreshed and clean. I also haven’t had any breakouts so that’s a plus in my book! My main motivation to keep using it wouldn’t be to clear my skin but just as use as a daily cleanser.

The key ingredient tea tree oil (obviously) is picked by hand and distilled in Kenya. The trade encourages organic farming so it is not damaging to the environment.
