The Body Shop – Peppermint Intensive Cooling Foot Rescue Review

Hi everyone!

Today I am reviewing The Body Shop Intensive Cooling Foot Rescue. I purchased this cream very recently and has since become a part of my nighttime ritual.

Product Claims:

For feet in need of TLC. This overnight moisture-booster works on hard skin and dry heels.

  • Rehydrates dry heels
  • Helps to combat odour

Packaging and Price

It comes in a 100ml tub and is priced at €16.95. The tub is small but you only need a small amount so it is still great for everyday use.

The scent is very refreshing. It is minty, light and not overpowering. The smell reminds me of sweet candy cane 🙂

It is quite thick and greasy but absorbs into the skin very quickly. The peppermint gives a cooling and tingling sensation which is nice after a long day. I usually apply before bedtime, rather than at start of the day. It will make a bit of a mess if you walk around straight away due to the initial greasy texture.

Does it work?

I have noticed a huge difference in the health of my feet. I don’t have cracked heels but I used to have dry skin which has now improved and only after a few days! My skin is now plump and baby soft. It is a bit pricey but well worth it for the results as a little goes a long way. The only disappointment is that I expected more of a tingling sensation after applying. It is still very refreshing for over tired feet after a day of walking a lot or after the gym!

My rating – 8/10.
