It's the Small Things

No.7 have released a new range of primers that are great quality while also being affordable. I purchased the No. 7 Airbrush Away Pore Minimising Primer after it was recommended by a sales assistant as the best product in the range for my skin type. There are two other products in the range: a green one to combat redness and a pink one to boost radiance.

Review

I’m not sure how to best describe the texture of the product but it is kind of velvety and very smooth. It gives the feeling of disappearing as soon as you apply to the face so it doesn’t feel like you are wearing any product in the first place – which I love! After leaving to absorb for a few seconds I apply the Bare Minerals Original SPF15 Foundation (click link to see my review). Only a small amount is needed for sufficient coverage of the whole face -see picture above.

The foundation glides on a lot more smoothly than if applied to bare skin. My make up also doesn’t budge for the entire day and it helps with shine control. My skin can get oily especially if I’ve been running around for the day and the primer helps keep that at bay! I can still get a bit of oil build up but it’s nothing that a bit of powder won’t fix.

And the poreless skin that No. 7 promises? My pores are less obvious under the foundation and reduced in size. It is priced at €22.50.

All in all I recommend and can see myself repurchasing!
