Well Hello There

Hi peeps!

It’s been some time since I’ve posted. I’ve been a busy bee working on some other stuff which I will explain about!

I’ve re branded my blog name from ‘Alifya Beauty & Life Talk’ to ‘It’s the Small Things’ and I’m really excited about it! I used to be so reluctant to change anything in my life big or small, but lately I’ve been more embracing of it so I’m very proud of myself for taking this step! It’s so important to embrace change because unless you do you will never move forward.

I’ve missed blogging so I’m hoping to get back into it. I used to do weekly posts but they may not be as regular when I do eventually get back into it – but something is better than nothing right?!

So in the last year I have been spending more time on my artwork. I’ve been doodling ever since childhood. I only recently started dedicating so much time on it and I’m really enjoying it!

I think it’s really important to have a medium or a side hobby to de-stress the mind from everyday life. I recently came across a quote by Pablo Picasso – ‘Art Washes Away From the Soul the Dust of Everyday Life’ and I think it rings very true.

I’m selling my artwork now on a variety of home decor, art and lifestyle products through online stores Redbubble and Society6. Here’s a snapshot 🙂

They’re also available for sale on Etsy as downloadable art prints for the home. I’ll leave the links below so you can check them out. I’d love to hear what you think so please leave a comment below!
